Band
members ....
Some of
the superb musicians that I regularly work with ....
THE
TEAM:
STEVE
BRUCE - Drums and percussion
Previously
with Cliff Richard, Rick Parfitt, Billy Ocean, Kokkomo, Zoot
Money and Jim Mullen and many others including recording
works with Trevor Horn. Steve has also performed on London West
End shows, Godspell, Jesus Christ Superstar and Joseph and the
Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
ANDY
HERBERT - Bass guitar
A
fine bass player who has previously been working with Zoot
Money, Helen Terry, Ronnie Carol, Phil Collins, Van Morrison and
Eddi Reader amongst others.
NIGEL
PORTMAN-SMITH – Bass guitar
In
bass guitar playing, Nigel is perhaps regarded as the 'Danny
Thompson’ of his field which might suggest that he’s
probably about as good as you can get. In fact, Nigel went on to
fill the role left behind by Danny as bass player with legendary
Folk-Jazz group, Pentangle since 1985 and in more recent
times, he has regularly been the bass player with Bert Jansch.
A class act!
PAPA
GEORGE – Vocals and Guitar
London’s
’Mr Bluesman’ who wields a mean electric axe. Most recently
seen sporting an array of ’glittering’ guitars such as the
National steel resonators. We've been playing and touring
together now for around 30 years and he still laughs at my jokes
..... Now that's a real buddy!
STEVE
SIMPSON - Vocals, guitar, fiddle and mandolin.
A
fine guitarist and perhaps best known for his long serving role
with Roger Chapman's Shortlist band. Steve was also a member of
Ronnie Lane's Slim Chance.
ANDY
WINFIELD - Vocals and guitars.
A
great singer and guitarist best known for his works with the
seminal pub rock band of the seventies, Juice On The Loose.
RICHARD
HAYES - guitar.
Well
known for his slide guitar playing with rock blues band 'Bad
Influence'.
JAY
STAPLEY
- Guitar
Noted
for his role with the bands of Roger
‘Pink Floyd’ Waters and Mike
Oldfield’s ‘Tubular
Bells II’ tour.
RICHIE
BRUNTON - Guitar
One
of the UK's top session guitarists. Richie has been a full
member of the bands of Gerry Rafferty, Barbara Dickson and Dr
John to name just a few in his very respectable career.
